ahhh.. "the first car". gotta love it. almost seems like yesterday when I think back to my yellow 69 Cougar XR7. plus 30 years or so. lol enjoy it while you can young man.
dont ever part with it if you do youll regret it. youll always be looking back thinking where it might be or if its even still around some where. I would keep the I6 in it since its your first car. fix it maintain it and drive it forever then someday after things start to get going for you buy another comet or maverick then fix it up while you drive that one still. treat that ol I6 right and itll give you another 20 years without any major repairs. change the oil change the oil change the oil then repeat. those old motors will run forever if you keep them clean inside maybe rebuild the motor stock with just fresh gaskets and youll have a car that will love you back for YEARS TO COME goodluck with it and have fun
i wish my first car was a muscle car that ran, i drove a 98 chevy astro van, but i did have good times in it
Nice looking car. The reason I wound up getting one of these is because of my older sister. Her first car was a '72 302 mav.& that color.I was 16yrs old.And by the way..my sisters name is Christine. How funny
