heard from a friend that his dad pulled in a maverick last week that was delcared abandoned..I said I wouldn't get anymore projects going but just can't resist this baby (y) Looks like no motor judging by how high it sits in the front but oh well. Buddy said the interior is actually "really nice" so we'll see if nobody claims it soon (already been a week!)... :D

    is it a 71 or 72?

Pictures pretty small but it looks like a 71 stripe. Front end looks normal stock height to me - I would guess it has the motor yet.

All the fun Maverick stuff that you guys in the PNW get .......... :dancing:

Looks pretty good. Hard to tell from that picture but are the windows tinted? Could be an a/c car.

Judging only by the stripes, I would agree that it is a '71.

    Good luck!(y)

I'm sure it has a motor in it. It' just has the typical saggy ass-end.

It's a '71 (assuming original paint). Solid black-out on the hood gives it away. What a nice car! That would be so cool to have in my garage parked to my car. Modify this one (coyote) and keep mine stock (6 cyl). I can see it now... two personalized license plates...JEKYLL...and...HYDE.

**alarm clock buzzes** Oh, I must have been dreaming again.

    Very exciting though!!!! Good Luck!!

The front valence and bumper almost look like it was towed with a sling...I hope not, what a shame if those just got bent towing it.

Really... My 71 had the bumper bent when I got it. Looked like someone hooked to the bumper to pull it out from under a tree or something. Could still see the "clean" line on the bumper filler that had been covered by the bumper before it got bent so I knew it had just happened recently...
