Now that I have pulled my stock one out to clean up the engine bay, is there any aftermarket replacements I could use, maybe something stainless?

Not sure if I want to put the stock one back in.

Maybe something to match my puke can? I wouldn't mind two stainless cylinders side by side, or one back by the firewall.

Can I put in a second puke can and mount a "universal" pump to it? Do they make a pump like that?

How about a fish tank pump or small fountain pump.

I saved an aluminum power steering resovoir from a Lexus years ago that would be perfect for something like that.....Not to change the subject but years ago i had a tube framed ex-Trans-Am mustang built by a well known builder and he had a windshield washer set-up plumbed into the front brake cooling ducts....The pump was wired to the brake light switch and a rubber hose carried water to a mister in the ducts....Everytime you stepped on the brakes a fine mist of water was injected into the airstream going through the ducts thereby cooling it

Cool! I have heard of guys mounting them near their rear wheels for a little mist to help start a burnout...

I did not Google it, because you get too much distracting junk results. 10+ pages of mostly crap, and then all the suggested links at the bottom. I could lose several hours, if not days, until I found what I wanted.

Someone on here has already done it, and can tell me the two part numbers in 5 minutes, and I am done. If I have patience for that guy to log on and see my question.

I DID search in Oreillyauto.com and got nothing. Jegs.com and nothing. Ebay.com and junk and distractions. mostly plastic bottles, hundreds of plastic bottles with various ugly shapes to fit specific cars. Even if you type "billet tank", billet washer tank, billet windshield washer tank" or aluminum or metal or alloy of all of those versions, still nothing but junk.

Ever realized how many billet and aluminum "tank washers" exist out there? And that includes items to wash tanks of billet or aluminum, and actual round flat washers to use with billet or aluminum tanks. Thousands of hits for both of those, because no matter how I word it, the search button has no idea what I am really asking for.

i got a universal windshield washer pump from orillies last month for a customers car. i have the part number at work. all you need to do is go in and ask them for one. they usually keep them next to the wiper blades if you want to go in and look for one. tank wise you can get another matching over flow tank and just hook the inlet on the bottom to the pump.

That Google Images is WAY better. Thanks for the suggestion. I have never messed with the images portion.

I would like the matching bottle. Two cylindrical bottles would look cool. I would need one with a wider opening so I could stick the water hose into it.

But these suggestions will get me in the right direction!

I don't really think you'd even need one unless you drive daily. The Comet I just bought has coolant in the washer reservoir. When I looked at the car, the guy said he had just filled up the coolant. Gee thanks. :dizzy:

:rofl2:Some people don't need an old car. You wouldn't believe the stupid stuff I had to undo when I bought my Maverick. But I did get it at a good price because it didn't run...he had the points set at .25" instead of .025"

I had an old mustang that had a bag. It was original and still held coolant...I mean washer fluid. Lol

    It was pretty compact.
