Does anyone know of any type of adapter to relocate the air cleaner directly over the valve cover on an i6? I want to put an enderle style butterfly scoop on it. I know classic inclines makes an adapter for the air cleaner size, but would it sit over far enough to be in the center of the hood? My other option is I have a 2barrel carb and I could get the adapter from C.I. but that still leaves me wondering how far the cleaner would be moved over.
Maybe an offset base aircleaner will work. You could also easily modify a standard base w/ a custom offset to center it.
