My brother's got a '77 Mav and it used to have a 302 but somone swapped in a 200 so it still has all the v-8 suspension and what not. What he wants to know is, what is gonna be the price to get a brand new 302 and have a shop(what would be a fair labor charge?) put it in cause I'm sure as hell to lazy to do it.

Your going to have to find some frame mounts first. Maybe the person/shop that put the 200 in still has them laying around. You can buy a remanufactured long block for less than $2K if you got connections. On top of that you got all the extras to find like intake and carb, exhaust manifolds or headers, all the front end stuff like the water pump, pullies, etc. You'd be better off finding a complete moter and plucking it out of the doner car yourself. The 200 trans will not bolt up to the 302.
