I haven't been on here in a while but since my last post my '74 Mav 250 IL blew a rod so I bought a '68 Mustang 302 I'm getting it rebuilt. What parts would I need to install to make the 302 to work?

You need v8 frame stands, engine mounts, belly bar, front sump oil pan w/ matching pick up, exhaust manifold or headers and all necessary accessories. Make sure your radiator and trans are up to par.

It's all in the drivetrain technical article , in the tech article section, since 2003.

start collecting the swap parts now... that's the hardest part. some pieces are repopped now, but not all of them, and the ones that are tend to be a little spendy... stick shift cars are trickier than autos, and make sure you know the differences between the earlier 302s and the later 5.0s... there's tons of good info on the board here for this swap since its one of the most common.

Any front sump passenger car 289/302 pan from '60s & '70s will be fine...
