Bumper Bolt washers

    Gentleman I quick question, does the little sping washer for the bumper bolts go between the bumper and the bracket or between the bracket and the nut ? Thanks Rick

    That's what I always thought, stops the bolt from digging into the bumper and torquing the bumper outta shape. Don't tighten the crap out of them, you'll crack the chrome.

    I was wrong. I went out and looked with my fingers the first time. This time I went out and looked with my eyes. Dave is correct....between the bumper and the bracket. I will go back and edit my original thread.

    I was thinking they were for taking up for any of the square head on the bolt that may stick through the square hole in the bumper...without it the bumper wouldn't pull up against the bumper bracket...:yup:
