Basically any engine other than the 289/302/5.0 and their stroker variants(331/347) are going to require some fab work to use... Either 351C or W are wider so that clearance is at a premium, 390, 460, 4.6L(eech, I'd use a Chevy first) etc won't fit without cutting shock towers... All those engines are anywhere from 50-200lbs heavier, which should also be a consideration, plus the big block engines won't bolt to a transmission that fit a 302...

well i have done the 351w and i would definately say that you should go with the 302, its a lot of work for the 351 and if i wouldve known how much work it was gunna be to put in i prolly wouldve went with a 302. but my engine is in and im not looking back.... if you have any questions about the swap i did just let me know!

well actually the extensions on my car are factory, they arent the grabber extensions, when i replace my panels im prolly just going to use the original ones that i have. if your looking for grabber extensions then i would suggest asking around this site because i cant find that middle piece that goes on the trunk deck either, i have searched the internet everywhere and i cant find one

i do know that a couple ppl on this site have some for sale or at least could probably get some because i have asked a couple guys too

if your factory extensions are cracked then i have a donor car with good ones on it that i really have no use for if your interested, or if you need any other parts from it just let me know!

p.s. what im looking at doing to my car is putting a mach 1 spoiler on rather than the extensions, i have seen a couple of mavericks online with them on and it looks freaking sweet! its just an idea if you cant get the extensions or want something different like i do!

ya that spoiler is different lol, i see what you mean about getting the extensions and if you are having trouble finding anything and you dont like what you have on there you could always get a factory trunk lid and regular extensions and go back to stock..... and as far as shipping i could probably do it but i think you would have to pay for shipping costs. i guess i have never shipped anything out of country so idk what all goes into that unless you do

well since your car a 76 my interior pieces wont work because they changed the design almost year to year. in 73 they didnt have a glove box, it was a shelf pretty much and the vents are smaller and narrower so i cant even give you those... i have a 76 too and it has the same vents but my whole bottom dash piece is cracked in a couple places so im gunna have to replace the whole thing and i know where i could get that piece so maybe if i get it then i could take out those vents for you since mine are still good...... it would be a little while before i get it tho :(
