I have a Chilton Service repair manual for a Maverick. email me DIRECTLY (see below) if I can help. Nice car....don't change a thing.
Ok so does anyone here believe cars have temperaments? My lil present doesn't like me- ha ha ha. Whenever I drive it she cuts out however whenever hubby drives it shes just fine- he says I need to let it warm up- i figured ten minutes was enough for cryin out loud! As I said in an earlier post I will be checking vacuum lines and hoses but hes got me thinking maybe my foot is not heavy enough! Anyone?
Love your car don't change a single thing about it. I also have a orange and white (mines a Comet GT though) and love it. Also, fan of the big bumpers, the bumperettes are a great place to stash a hide-a-key. Sounds like your carb needs a refresh though. 10-15 minutes should be enough to get warmed up.
now that you are ready to start to work on it, maybe you would like to move on to the...Technical...section...let the fun begin...
from Michigan. '74 Maverick Grabber is my favorite car. I had two of them and the bumpers never bothered me! You will like here!
Thank you for the welcomes! I have been super busy working and have not been posting - I guess i will have to make up for that soon- I hope all those who celebrate it have a safe and happy Easter and for those that don't have a safe and happy Sunday!
