    hey all
    just got a maverick from a relative stranger that i see every day. i drive a 78 elcamino and saw his 71 mav almost every day. we struck up a converstation, and two days later the car was mine. there are 54ooo miles on the thing. cosmetically theres a rip in the drivers side seat and thats it. engine wise, i think it needs a valve job. it fouls spark plugs pretty quickly,(500 miles or less).
    so im thinkin of getting a bigger engine , a 306, so basically im looking for a junk car with a good engine and hood. so i can have the little cowl induction thingies on the hood. if anybody's got one, let me know.

    i never knew there was such a big following for these cars. i think its the coolest thing since sliced bread. but all my friends are looking at me like im a little nuts for even wanting the thing. i cant seem to explain, sucessfully just how cool this car actually is.
    well anyway ill have to figure out how to download some photos of the beast

    75 with v8 in it oooohhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! yea!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE GREEN MACHINE.Drove it today it was great windo down with arm hanging out!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cus it wouldnt roll back up guese i need a window track .it was a florida car now in illinois thanks to the person that brought it her who ever it was couse now it (mine). :bananaman :clap: :cool: :) :D
