You should always be able to push in your clutch, regardless of steering wheel position. Sounds like you have a clutch linkage interfering with your pitman arm / center link.

that's what i thought and it binds up when i turn left and not when i turn right thanks so i'm gona have to bend the linkage out some to clear the pitman arm

<^<note>^> found that the Z Bar is not mounting right i'm including a pic of it and if any1 can tell me how to get it to fit/mount right it would help as i did have the motor out b4 and had to replace the block and the clutch was doing the same thing b4 now with this being my first Maverick that i have worked on and not having any1 around that knows about this car and how everything is suppose to b makes this alot harder then it really needs to b

Update well after lookin around some more on the motor/chassis of the car i found that the top of the Zbar was hitting the header tube on #8 not allowing the Zbar to slide n2 place on the block side so with that being said it looks like i'm gona need to fix that b4 i can fix the left turn no clutch problem that i have and i'll just have to live with it for a few more weeks till i can get the 400mile drive back home with it
