    Hmmm....make sure the pan says "metric" on it, i thought AOD was PKA on the tag.

    Should say "metric" on the pan, if it still has the factory pan....I seem to miss stuff typing on my iPad.

    Is a system of measurement, but the AODs say it on the pan.

    Ok so I don't think it's a AOD bc I just looked it up and he told me it came out of a crown Vic and the Wikipedia says it can in 1992 and he told me it was a 87 :(

    1972 Comet GT clone 306 . 1969 Fairlane Cobra 428CJ 1988 T-Bird awaiting 331 ..
    First ones were introduced for the 1980 model year, continued till around '93, '88-up have lubrication mods that improve durability... The ones used in the 3.8 Super Coupes and pickup/van versions are best, I'm 99% sure all the truck trans(and Mark VII Lincoln) are approx 1" longer than the car models...

    don't know about the trucks being longer but I didn't have to cut my drive shaft when I installed the one from an 84 F150.
