    :Welcome:Welcome from up North:Handshake

I agree with Crazy Larry, you need to decide what you want..........make a plan, then decide if you can do it with the budget you've set to spend...........sounds easy..............................but is actually pretty hard............................IMHO

    Welcome to the boards.

When I bought my first Comet (just a few years ago) everyone in my family thought it was the secondest stupidest thing I'd done with my money (even though I paid $400 for it). When I bought my second Comet they REALLY thought I'd done something stupid (I did, I paid about $1000 more than I should have).

But as I get the work done on it, and improve upon it, and keep it running far more reliably than any other car I've owned. Even my wife has come around a bit on it. She still never wants to drive it, but she's been willing to be in the passenger seat and even been helping me find room in the budget for parts. I think the number of times we go out in it, and people come up and tell us what a cool car it is has helped a lot.

So I don't know if that's any help to you, but if you like it that's all that matters. Enjoy your car, and know that many, many people will be jealous of it.
