    Hey Guys,
New to the site. I purchased a green 1973 Maverick 4 Door with 3 speed floor mount today. It is really clean with 58K original miles. Great fun to drive. Any idea how many were made like this? It looks like the one you guys discussed back in December. Thanks
    Ron

No real way to say for sure how many were made, but I know it is very rare.

Welcome to the site, good luck with your project,I wish I could find one in good shape to drive every day because they are so much easier and simpler to work on than the new cars.I would set it up with a 240 6cyl,rig up fuel injection,5 spd with a/c of course,I bet you could get 30mpg and boy would it be reliable.

    Thanks

Thanks for the welcome. The Forum seems like a great place to learn about the Maverick and Comets. I found the "PASSENGER" sheet under the front seat so it has some details about the car as well. I will get the Marti report as well.
    Cheers
    Ron

I second that. Well, except the fuel injection.

LOL, yeah. I despise fuel injection. I'd take the hit on mileage.
