I am expecting a little girl in about 50 days Soo I canot spend alllll 5k on the maverick, butttttttt I can probably sneak 500-600$ away from the wife without her noticing or slip a livingroom set in for her to hush her up What do I get??? I need a coil over front end (3k) Need a rearend (1200) Need a ton of misc stuff like gauges, weather stripping, carpet, a dome light, wire harness, fuel cell, motor mounts, tranny, cross members, etc... I want to get the MOST amount of stuff for the 500-600... but it i am fighting myself on buying a repop of the driver side rear quarter to replace. That itself will run me 400$ shipped. Or??? need some help What would you get??

I bought a custom built 9" rear, 1/4 moly tubes, billet ends, 31 spline axles, all bearings, retainers, center section bolts and brake backing plate bolts for $650 +/-. Give Doug at Quick Performance in Ames Iowa a call, he ships stuff every day and builds a ton of rearends. SPark
In retrospect, I wish that I had done the bodywork on mine before a lot of the mechanical mods. Just food for thought.

He's narrowed a couple rearends for me ('66 Fairlane GTA Pro Street, '61 Falcon Pro Street), made some custom axles for a quick change I put in a track T I built, repaired 9" rearends we wrecked in dirt modifieds. He's good to work with and can do anything. He can also do center sections, engine stuff, build cages or complete cars. He has a complete fab shop plus a retail store in Ames, Iowa. He said he could put the spring pads on for me to fit a Maverick but I didn't have him do it since I wasn't sure I wouldn't have to move my springs in to clear everything. He'll take a rearend to any stage you want it, any center section, any axle tube, stock or billet ends, any spline count. You tell him what you want and he can make it. If you aren't sure what you need, he can walk you thru that, too. In all the years I've dealt with him, I've only had 1 set of axles I wasn't 100% proud of and he made it right immediately, no questions asked and all at his expense. It was new help related. Interesting ... aren't you concerned about damage to the paint? On mine, the engine bay paint was scratched and chipped from the engine removal/install and from the front suspension and steering rebuild/disk brake swap. Body and paint are the last stage planned for my current (F100) project.
Since mine is a daily driver and I frequent an occasional show, I would like the appearance to at least match the performance. That said, I have worked on high end cars enough to learn the hard way to be careful and tape off or use blankets when I'm getting near finished surfaces, but I do see your point about the engine R&R and front suspension work. I painted the engine compartment black(I wish I had not) which was good because I cracked the shock towers after a few years of spirited driving and had to take it back apart anyway. The long and short of it is, the quarter panel and passenger door has taken a hit from someone not paying attention crossing traffic and if I had fixed that first instead of the front end work, I think I might enjoy it more than driving around with a big dent down the side of the car. Its sort of like a black eye and a missing tooth, bragging rights for a rugby player, but for your average joe you have to explain it all of the time
