Well it is that time of the year again and I just received an email from Helen our contact for getting reserved parking for Mavs and Comets. I will not be attending this year but told her I would find out how many others plan to attend so she can get a spot reserved, sooo if you are planning on going let me know and I will try to set it up so everybody can park together as in past years. I will miss you guys and gals but things just didnt work out for this year
I figured as much, I thought you would just go out and buy another one I also figure that racing is taking up a lot of your time but I hear you made some money at it
I've taken a look..but resisted on a few well...actually I have no choice but to resist. I'm out of parking...well ok..atleast until I kill the yellow mav Yeah racing has consumed my life...I have reached a point where its paying for its own parts.. but still not paying near enough for the hours spent obviously
Thats up to you locals to decide. As far as reserved parking for Mavs and Comets there will be none this year so you are on your own
I sent ryan a pm informing him I wouldn't be making it. Never heard back though. I'm tied up with racing the whole weekend.
I won't be there this year either. I am going to a show here in town sunday. Hope everyone has a good and safe weekend. I-5 is missing a bridge at Mt. vernon as of yesterday at 7 pm.
Looks like slim pick'ins this year. Ryan might make it, but he's been MIA on the board for quite a while. Cliff may be leery of that bridge collapse. Of course, Coop and Ray went AWOL. Mike and SD have bowed out. Matt pouring all his loot in racing. Loki, GG16, DC, Lynn, Darrel, Shaun, mjm, Sugar K...all MIA. Damn, it's a ghost town. Well anyway...there might be a bronze Merc (with a new 75cc accelerator pump to finally cure the big cam intermediate bog) lurking around in the shadows some where in the vicinity (listen for the lumpy idle).
Sorry to hear nobody is going to make it this year.... We always had a good turnout in previous years.
