I have the K8233 up control arm shaft kit. I am wondering if I shud put a little grease on the inside of the bushing where it goes on the shaft?
Nothing in the insturctions relating to any lubricant.

I think that is a gud philosophy. That is what I will do. I have a guy who works as mechanic "also Maverick owner" for Firestone Auto Service he will be doing the job w/ my assistance.

Was not able to install the bushing in the UCA'S. One wud go in the arm, but the other side of the arm wud not accept the bushing. We even tried to install it w/ a press at a friends workplace. I see why these press in "problem solver#" were discontinued. We wound up installing the original shaft w/ new grease fittings. The orig shaft was Ok but since I had the new ones, thought, might as well install it and new ball joint. I will only consider screw in type replacement from now on.
