i found some rust in the heads

    Are you sure it's rust? Not just a rough casting? Or are You talking about the rocker?

    I don't think it's anything to worry about as long as its on the rocker arms and not any place else.
    Has this motor been sitting awhile?

    After looking at the rockers more closely I would think that someone replaced the rusty ones, as they are just slightly different than the ones without rust on them..............don't think there is a problem as long as the motor is running ok.
