Ok I feel like a idiot even asking this but how do I disconnect the front turn signal plug from the grill? I'm trying to get the grill off and everything is good to go except the turn signals are still plugged in and I can't seem to get them off... I tried searching it but came up with everything but what I'm looking for.
If you’re asking about the electrical connection...They just pull apart. Don't know what you mean about “plug from the grille”, but the housing is bolted to the radiator cradle and will come off with the grille then you will see how to get things apart
I've got the grill unbolted from everything else but I can't get the electrical connection to come apart so I can actually remove the grill... I even unscrewed everything I could from the grill but nothing is giving way... So the 3-wire plug is supposed to just come straight out of the lens? I tried a screw driver to help pry it out but nothing gave way, I was able to twist it a little but that's it.
The parking light bucket has a pigtail about 9"-12" long. It unplugs from there. http://www.1bad6t.com/sale/fs_3298.jpg
The bulbs are so stubborn I've taken to using a short piece of hose with an ID a bit smaller that the bulb to twist it. Better the hose than having that bulb disintegrate in your fingers!
Alright, for some reason I was expecting it to disconnect from the bucket end... like every other light on the car... thank you.
So... would they disconnect from the bucket on a '74 maverick like the comet one shown above and have the pigtail or is it just the pigtail. thanks.
