    another pic

Heres another pic of the pair. The parts car is a bit rough but It does have a 5 lug 8" and some other parts that made it worth the extra $100.00

Im out in Port Orchard. I run out at Bremerton MSP all the time in my 67 Firebird, some times I run my tow rig for fun. It can be as fun running a 7300 pound diesel truck that runs 12.70's as a pump gas street car that runs 9.40's.

The 66 289 and 73 C4 are in, headers will be here Friday. Need to sort out engine mounts I think the frame and isolators are from a 60's mustang and though I could make them work with some cutting and drilling I realy don't want it boogerd in there. I also need to finish detailing the engine bay. It is cleaned and I did paint behind and under the engine before installing. The shift and kickdown linkage is another project I need to address. I made the double hump transmission cross member by cutting two 6 cyl trans cross members in half and welding them together. Prject is going well so far.

If you need the correct set of frame stands and motor mounts I have a set that I would be willing to sell for $140.00 shipped.

Oh and welcome to the Maverick world

You should have mentioned about the cross member you could have had for free, I have one that is just collecting dust, as I had to mod one for my Powerglide.

Thank you! PM me your mailing address and I'll get the payment headed your way.

    Thank you, Larry

olerodder, Ill buy the cross member off of you and use it instead of the one I built. Not that the job I did was bad or anything but a one piece unit would be better considering the gauge of the metal and the multiple load angles on it being a unibody car with no cage.

    Thank you, Larry
