Hi everyone. I'm the new guy from the Cleveland area and to say that this site has saved me more than once. I have read some very interesting articles and the info I found is super. GREAT SITE ! Mavericks have been part of my life for over 30 years.

I am a previous owner of a '71 Grabber V8 that was bought new and then sold it:cry: when I was married in '76. But hey, I have a wonderful wife with two grown kids and have recently purchased a '73 Grabber with a Holman Moody prepared 351C. Total off frame resto. is being done. Car has sat for a long time and needed it but the best thing is that it only has 2,000 miles on it, has no body work at all and the underside is like new! The 351C fits like a glove with no mods to the shock towers but a few things are being done to the engine bay to help change the plugs. I don't think you can put a piece of paper between the towers and plugs:D

Stay tuned and once again i'm glad to be part of this!

    Denny

Thanks guys! I want to ask a question here. I have all the parts to change this car over to a small bumper car ('71-'72) and even though there is alot of history in the car after removing the "original" paint sort of ,in my mind, already ruined the history. Maybe......maybe not. I still would like to paint it white. While we're at it, I took a few pictures last night as it was being primed. Check out the shock towers. Note that the bottom braces were removed for a nice clean look and placed on the inside of the tower and two holes drilled so that I can change the plugs a little easier and a small hole drilled for the header bolt on one of the tubes from Tubular Automotive.
