I am brand new to the fixing cars thing. I just bought a '72 Maverick 4D ts runs and sounds real good.... I really don't even know where to start. The engine is the original 250. As far as I know, the only things wrong with it are; small brake fluid leak from the front cylinder, small transmission fluid leak not sure where from, my front driver side door acts locked even though the handles on the inside and outside feel like they are working and the plunger is moving up and down. I am just really wanting to make this car the amazing machine I know it can be. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. -Wrek P.S.- I am interested in restoration, not enhancement.
...:Handshake the door sounds like a rod has come loose. you need to pull the door panel and check the mec. that works the latch.
