    Thanks for your reply. I just bought a 1970 Maverick and need some parts for the steeing colum being that it kicks into reverse when a first start it and I also need to pull the lever to get it to send power to the starter. do you know who can help.

    Welcome to the forum

    Assuming this is an automatic (based on the reverse comment) I would say it is just a matter of adjusting the transmission linkage. This may take care of both issues, if not you will need to adjust the neutral safety switch to cure the start issue.

    Also in the future please create a new thread when posting questions unless they are related to the topic you are posting within.
