power assist to power steering

    Possibly if you have a floor shifted automatic or maybe a cable operated clutch manual with floor shift... Kicker is with a Mav/Comet there is very little room to squeeze hoses beside the engine as with Stang or Torino... At the least the steering column must be shortened or partially collapsed...

    a manual drag link and pitman arm will also... "get rid of the crappy power control valve"...:yup:

    Yes. One member that I'm aware of here has done that install. Markso125 I believe. I thought he did a tech article but I was unable to find it.

    Yes, it eliminates the control valve as well as the slave cylinder. I have been installing this conversion, butIit has been fighting me every step of the way, still not quite done.

    Yes it does get rid of the control valve, it made my car a lot more responsive, gave it some road feel and made it a lot easier and more fun
    to drive.
