Hello all, I am new to the world of Mavericks/Comets but not new at all to cars.

I just picked up a 73 Maverick, I'm going to give the "condensed version" of it's history so I don't bore you with 6 paragraphs of typing haha

Basically it was a old drag car back in the 80's until our local drag strip closed. It has a 351w/c4 to a 4:10 posi 9" and it ran a 11.7 on street tires. After the strip closed down the guy who built it lowered it down put stock wheels/hood back on it and made it into a sleeper street car. The drivetrain/axle are the same though thankfully. Fast foreword to last Saturday and it came home with me.

He had the car taken apart for paint in 2007 but then got sick and it never got done. I have every piece, but now I have to figure it all out and piece it back together, it's like a badass jigsaw puzzle.

For alone reason I can't get my pictures to load to my photobucket account, but pictures will come soon
