I've just obtained an issue of "Engine Swaps" and the Coyote-swapped 1970 Maverick is contained within on p.78.

I first noticed Dan Dubs' vehicle via YouTube:

Will still create a thread when mine commences and progresses. However, I'll be installing the T56 behind the Coyote. :tiphat:

Wow. What a clean looking car with such a sweet engine swap.

That car looks like the same car that was at the Dubque, Iowa Gathering this past July. I believe I have some pix of it at the motel parking lot. I don't think there's to many Mav/Comets running around w/ those motors.. Very impressive car.

Wish I didn't already have an engine sitting on the stand all rebuilt and ready to go. I would have gone that route if they were available a couple years ago.

Nice car. I hope nobody short ever drives it. If they move that bench seat forward, it's gonna hit the floor-shifter.

    Buckets would be the solution.

Should be hanging on the lower RF of engine bolted directly to block, no brackets necessary...

I'm basically a Modular/Coyote bigot, but gotta admit that is sweet...

anything that would remove that pimp-ass interior would be a crime though :thumbs2:

That car is pretty sweet! The interior is awesome, and pretty rare. I'd like to have a closer look, I wonder if the engine could go lower, into the engine bay, or if the engine cover that makes it look a little high..
