Hi, I am new member from Kansas. My first car was a 1970 maverick. When I was 16 an older gentleman passed away and the wife did not drive. It had only 2000 miles on it and the orginal oil had never been changed. I loved that car, but was young and dumb and had a wreck and totaled it out. I then got a 1971 maverick with a 302. Thirty one years later I am looking to find a nice maverick to take to car shows. I am new at this so any help would be nice John Bill

Thanks for the warm welcome from everybody. Hawkco, I am looking for a car that is pretty well done. I just dont have the time to do a major project. Maybe something pretty well along that I could put some personal touches too. johnbill

Welcome aboard, I think about all of us have had a least 1 Mav that we let get away and wish we had back. I have a 73 that I've had for 27 years, but I bought a 74 a year after the 73, was nice. Still wish I hadn't let it go. Good luck in your search.
