I think they started a build on that engine a few months ago and was suppose to have a part 2. Maybe this is the part2? Anyway, I think they are called PowerBlock Nation these days, since the 1st, of the year. I had been looking for the finishing segment.
My cousin in Jersey told me about it and that's what he called it. My cable provider is still calling it Horsepower TV. Guys might want to look for it either way.
They recently, and quickly changed the names of all those shows on Spike, and they now also show them on CBS Sports, and NBC sports, along with Spike. Spike is owned by MTV...and has really gone downhill, unless you want to watch Cops 24/7..... http://www.powernationtv.com/schedule/
That woukd explain my Cousin telling me it was on CBS. And yes, scrolling though the guide and was 80 percent Cops!
Interesting! I guess that's why name and dates hve changed. The programming on Saturdays AM have bn eliminated; I thought it might hve bn an issue w/ dwindling support frm sponsors - did'nt know the network had changed hands. Maybe a combo of both handchange and sponsors.
I don't know how well the name change will go over, there is a company called "Detroit Muscle" do you'd think they would have the rights to that name?
I sent them a e-mail last month asking about the shows. Still waiting NO ANSWER. There is not very many car shows on any more WE NEED MORE car shows!
Don't know if the name makes much difference - content of the show is more important than a name IMO. Have the right to which name???
I think I just watched part one. Very useful if I owned a machine shop with hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of equipment. Then again, if I owned a machine shop I would most likely know how to do everything they just did.
What network was it on? I watched the show today on Spike but it was/must have bn part 1, cuz they started frm bare block and only went to machining the head. Im trying to recall when I saw the 6 banger bu last year was a 250. I don't recall it being a 300. Car shows now are spread all over the place, where they use to be only frm what I recall on Speed and Spike for the most part.
I just watched it, it's different than the one they did before. Man, that was pretty cool, I wish I knew more about that stuff, I use to have a guy that I dealt with, he was awesome, but he passed away.
That's what I thought! I don't recall them finishing the engine frm the past one; cud have been something to do w/ network in the process of change of ownership. I wud'nt mind having one of the 300's in a PU or one of the fullsize cars frm the 50's/60's w/ 5spd manual. Lot's of room to work under hood. Wud not consider putting/shoehorn in a smaller car.
