can anyone tell me if crager still makes the star wheels that look very similar to welds alum star wheels,i saw a maverick a few months ago with some and they looked great ,just don't kow the name of them and if they evene were still produced .at least I was thinking crager made these???
no not the pro star 1 ive seen a lot of knock offs of those th eons im talking asbout is the weld Aluma star 2 piece wheels with the grade 8 bolts all around the removable center, they are very exspensive like 4-500.00 bucks a piece and I thought crage made a knock off version ,if it wasn't crager maybe centerline
These are what the mustang guys are running a lot of....this what your looking for? If so check out the site http://www.racestarindustries.com/catalog.html
fastmav5 the wheels look just like the weld ALUMA STA EXCEPT THEY DONT HAVE removable centers or grade 8 bolts ,they have rivets around the centers edge
Pics of the wheels would help op. I don't think your description of the name is correct unless it's a really odd wheel.
I don't have a picture but if you go to weld racing and look up aluma star not pro star and that will give u a very good idea of what they look like,if I can get apicture I will cause its driving me crazy....LOL i seen some on a maverick i almost bought back last yr .the car was on craigslist at one time
this is my 70 maverick with the weld aluma star wheels ,the crager street lite is what ive been told they are called and crager discontinued them back in the mid-late 90,s and weld started their own version called aluma stars but one thing I was wrong about...the crager version also had removable centers but don't interchange with the aluma stars but this picture of my car will tell the look of the wheels
