    Hi Stefan,
Thanks for the help with the sent messages. Got 'em all!
My son has just finished 4 1/2 years at Concordia. I could kick myself for never having called you up to go for a cold one all of those times we were up there to visit him, or to move him between semesters.
But we'll be in Montreal again. Such a beautiful city (but so damn cold!).
Thanks so much for all that you do for the Maverick community Stefan. I can't believe that the biggest forum for these cars is from Montreal. I'm so proud of what you've accomplished. Do you have any idea how many people you've helped out, and how much so? You were my dreamweaver for 14 years. Everyday, even though I haven't posted much lately, I checked the new posts for anything new and exciting.
And who could forget finding the Shelby Mav pics! I'm not trying to pat myself on the back, but to me, it was like I'd found the golden fleece!
So many "tricks" have been shared; what Mustang parts work, using Versailles diffs, Granada spindles, flipping door hinges over, small bumper swaps, etc.
And so many gorgeous builds to follow that fed the flames of a passion to create a truly unique street machine that could hold its own with the Mustangs and Camaros.
All of the relationships that were started on these forums, and deepened at the meets all over the U.S. and even some in Canada!
Stefan, you're the man. If anyone ever tries to slight what you have accomplished here, don't say a word; just take a deep breath and as you slowly let it out, savour the fact that your MMB has blessed thousands of people!!! That's got to be a great feeling. Savour it brother.
Many, many thanks for allowing me to share the ride. I'll still be lurking, long after the garage is empty.
    God bless.....

John, thank you for your kind words :)

I remember reading about the Shelby Maverick in the mid 90s from a link I found on one of the first Maverick websites. There was some info about the car and only one grainy black and white picture. The link soon went dead and repeated searches did not turn up any sites that had as much info about the Shelby Maverick.

I still remember the day you sent me the Shelby Maverick info and pictures. I said to myself, "Wouldn't it be neat if there were a few still around?" Till this day I still dream that one day a fully documented Shelby Maverick will emerge from someone's garage.

John, thank you for all the valuable contributions to the Maverick/Comet community over the years and for donating the Bobcat taillights for the charity auction. :tiphat:

Even without a Maverick, you are always welcome here. I wish you a full recovery and you will be in my prayers.

    Stefan
