I've run across several disk break conversion kits but they all seem to be for the front. Does anyone make a kit for the rear?

These look like what I want, but it says 9" in the title (I'm assuming that means 9" rear end) will these work with an 8"?

Yes, it will work with either 8 or 9" rear ends.......when you check the link I had to Jegs site, you can also click on the Right Stuff kit and view their fully detailed instructions which has pictures too.
With these kits, you will require 15" rims to clear their 11" rotors, always best to check clearance, I have 15" Magnum 500's........for $355 including free shipping, great deal!

One important thing before you purchase any kit, check your axle hubs to make sure they are the larger 2.78" diameter, some axles are smaller and the rotors will not sit correctly, in which case you may have to purchase spacers to make up the difference. There is a fellow who sells these spacers on eBay, can't remember name at the moment. But check your hubs first..........good luck!

Here is a link below that has 2 part video of actual installation!

I cleaned my set up and painted them. about 5 of us went to Pull A Part and got a truck load of these brakes. Jeff's set was like new so he put them on the way he found them.

I have a set that I have not installed yet. Trying to finish the front end first, get the bugs worked out, then tear into the rear. I also want to go to a tru-trac diff while I have it apart. So, need to save up a little money.
