Complete kit came with brackets but I have fabbed a set that works better with my set up. The brackets when finished will be welded to frame rails and the watts cross member will bolt to brackets. Show pics l8er.

I did it on an 302 4 speed. After I bought the box I read somewhere that it was not supposed to work with a manual transmission. The z bar does not want to clear the power steering hoses. I had to to make the upper section 1 1/4 inch longer (also a 2 piece) it did not want to go past the headers. Clutch and power steering are wonderful. This is a link from another person that did the same box.

We replaced the entire exhaust system on my uncle's '71 Comet GT with a custom 2 1/2" system with an X-pipe, MAC Flowpath mufflers with the tailpipes tucked right behind the rear wheels/quarter panels. It sounds awesome!!

We then got my '72 Grabber out and cruised them together to get some lunch. It got into the mid 50's here today so it was a fun and productive day!

Brought home my 306 and put it on the stand... I went out and installed my first part, the oil pump... I added a ARP oil pump drive shaft, that little bugger cost me $26.95...lol... While I was at NPD I picked up a new oil pan,one piece gasket, fuel pump block off plate and a few other little parts... My summit order will be here tomorrow, that is a summit brand billet dizzy, plug wires and a 7psi electric fuel pump... Tuesday my Advance auto order will be in, flywheel, timing cover, water pump and a couple other things...

Went to garage yesterday. Intended to work on Maverick. Temperature was 65 degrees and sunny. Harley won the debate on what to do. Went on 100 mile ride...

You should start a build thread in the project section - I don't want to miss anything :)

It snowed today & my truck got stuck on a sheet of ice on the way to the shop...then the tow truck got stuck...then another one came and got us off of it, then i was back on route to the shop and lost all gears in my truck..fixed that..arrived to still be missing my parts from summit..worked on the chevelle till 6pm when FEDEX SHOWED UP! got the last of my ARP bolts & engine parts! this thing will be going back together tomorrow so i can toss the engine in and start building headers - so excited especially because there's no work all week :p

Took it out to pay bills in, came out to people taking pictures of it, got 30 or so thumbs up from other drivers on the road!
