It's with some regret I inform you that I passed my Comet onto someone else last night. It was one of the hardest decisions I've ever made. But, between leaving the car at my dad's in Oregon while I'm in Georgia, and knowing it would be a long time before I could ever get back to it I knew deep down I had to let it go. I laid awake last night till well after 4am wondering if I'd made the right choice. But the guy said it'll be a project for him and his son so at least it will get worked on. Maybe even finished. I probably won't be around too much, but there are quite a few of our old cars for sale down here in Georgia, so who knows maybe I'll be back sooner rather than later. You guys are awesome I'll probably check back in every once in a while. Otherwise, take care
We'll be here Years ago when I was going through a divorce I almost sold mine for $200 cash.. I am glad the guy never showed back up
Take care of yourself If there are, in fact, nice cars for sale in Georgia, my money is on that you will be back sooner than later
I know how it is,you have a car you want to work on badly & have some fun.But sometimes conditions beyond your control prevent it from happening. You probably made the right decision because unless it`s in a garage,it would be sitting outside rusting,& that`s not good.
Sorry to hear you had to give her up. Keep in touch and poke in and around some threads when time allows. You're a strong person, I couldn't get rid of the maverick. Regardless of the circumstances.
Its always difficult selling a car you really enjoy. Life brings changes many times. I am sure you will have another car some day. Remember you can't sell or give away whats in you heart. I sold my Maverick Grabber because of health reasons but I am still very much a Maverick/Comet guy and will be until the end!
