just got back from the upullit and it looks like the crown vic pulley is too stubby and would line up too far forward to work with the original...
i am running a regular early model 302 alternator bracket and standard rotation water pump but i want to use a 6 rib instead of a v belt

Earl will probably chime in to correct me if im wrong but i know when he did his t5 swap they cut out part of the bracing for the crossmember...
Got to lookin at the water pump pulley off the early 90s crown vics... it is a 6 rib pulley set up but has two belts without a tensioner instead...

Update: after loosening all the mounting bolts, grinding some of the bolt holes out, and some persuasion.... I got it to line up correctly......
