Anyone have experience swapping a 300 ford six in place of the existing 250? I'd like to get rid of the cast in manifold without springing for an Aussie head or whatever. Any one seen this swap?

Theres more to it than worrying about the head.
    The 300 is longer.
    Motor mounts are different.
    Pan is different.
Plus all the details involved with exhaust etc.
    Has been done many times.

    Who's worried?

I wasn't worried about the 300 head. I just like the 300 better than the 250 and wanted to know what was involved in a swap.
    Thanks.
