If you like Comets

You will love this...I do. The baddest Comet (at the tracks) I have seen so far. Wish I could have been there but at least I can replay it when I want.


I know it has been posted here before but alot of newbees probobly aint seen it.

It shows 60' times at 1.40...how do they measure 60' when the front wheels are off the ground the entire way? Is it measuring the front tire leaving and the rear wheels at 60'?

Excellent! Really enjoyed it. Thanks for posting Gene.

A friend of mine that used to race a wild Super Pro big-block 65 Mustang bracket car always thought that their 60 foot times should have been better ... that was until they did verify that they were tripping the clock with the back tires. That car was pretty crazy ... carb under the windshield ... drivers seat almost in the back seat ... It used to run on the wheelie bars past 100 feet on a typical run.

Sounds bad azz, but it werent no Comet . Me luvs Comets...
