I have never had the maverick on the track. The mustang went a 7.98 at 87mph with a 1.79 60ft.

My 60 ft was 1.589, 1/8th was 6.973 @ 90.19 mph. That was on 3-13-09 in an ArmDrop Live event with Rich Christiansen and I even made it in the semi-finals. That's actually where my avatar pic came from. Haven't been back to the track since. :(

The last Mav I built ran 7.34 at 94mph with a 60 foot time of 1.62. I have no Idea what this one I am building now will run. I guess I am going to have to wait till next spring to find out ( I hope ).

I think some of it had to do with all the people coming up to look at the car and saying "I can't believe you wanna RACE this car!" I just told em I built it to have fun. That I do a lot of shows and cruise-ins but I mostly built it for Cruisin-The-Coast!!! Which as a matter of fact starts in TWO DAYS!!! Can't wait! :) Should be well over 5000 cars again this year. Takin a weeks vacation again. :thumbs2:

what has been your best pass. To run around a 6.50-6.70 you will need to trap around 100-104mph. I don't see how rays car goes 6.90's at 90mph. It should trap around 95mph at least

I couldn't tell you. Other than I have the time slip to prove it. If you look in the timeslips database you'll see a timeslip posted with a 6.80 at 92 mph. There are a couple of them posted with times like that.

IDK I guess you are just taking full advantage of the power you have. On the 6.80 at 92 with a 1.60ft I think he is on a 600ft track.

I have only run the 1/4 with my Maverick, but I did see a couple of time slips from the guy I bought it from saying the Maverick ran 6.34 @ 114mph
    in the 1/8.
If I look at my fastest time todate my 60' was 1.410, 330' was 1.890 and my 660 was a 6.16725 with a MPH of 109.96. This was the only sub 10sec time I have run and it was on a -0.09004 red light. The final 1/4 mile was
    9.80172 @ 133.57......................if this is any help.
If you want to get into the mid 6's in the 1/8 you are going to have to pull some really serious HP numbers at the RW's...................... IMHO
