    i have been looking for awhile now and can not find an owner's manual for my 71. im just wondering if they even made one for that year:huh: . there's not even one on ebay. if someone knows if they make one or not, please let me know so i may stop wondering about it. and if they make one, im looking to buy one if price is right.

    You might want to try Helm Publications. They make all the service manuals and owners manuals for ford and other car companies. If they don't make it any more they might know where you can get one.

    Actually one of the best places to find one would be at Carlisle All Ford Nationals in June. Alot of people there that deal in old car literature. I'd be happy to look for ya if you havent found anything by then. It is June 1st - 4th.

    Actually ... there was no TRUE owners manual in 1971 for any Ford cars .. including the Maverick. There was a non-specific Car Care and Operation Booklet and then an Operating Features supplement depending on the car. See here ...

    Dang! there weren't even any in the ebay stores! Closest I saw was a 1971 Maverick shop manual, and the Bastard wanted $68 for it!!!:mad: :mad:

    they have an "owner maintenance and light repair manual" for $19. it lists the maverick on the front cover.:)

    i have not found a 71 owner manual either. the original paperwork that came with my car had a 72 owners manual and 71 documentation. i have been looking at all the large shows for several years.

    Guys there is no such thing as an owners manual for a 1971 Maverick. Did you miss my post above?
