1973 bumper coversion

    dose any one know if you can put small bumpers on a 73 mav I know you will need to change fenders and use a filler and the spoiler but is the frame rails the same i.e will a small bumper just bolt on and same question for the rear bumper as well

    For the rear, you just need 70-72 bumper brackets (the rear bumper is the same), and remove the rubber filler at the bottom of the quarter extension, then the 70-72's have a little piece that bolts on in it's place.     If you do the swap, keep in mind that your '73 front bumper is a 1 year only bumper. It might be worth more than scrap to a member here.

    You don't have to change the fenders.
