Does anyone know if a 200 CI oilpan from an early motor with a front sump will fit an 83 200 motor with a big bell transmission? My motor is out of an 83 Ford Fairmont Futura. This motor is metric bolts from top to bottom and has a rear sump which will not fit a Maverick. Also will the earlier oil pickup fit the newer oil pump? One more thing, will the exhaust manifold swap out from the same engine? Thanks for any help.

The Six Cylinder Performance Handbook says everything about this engine is the same as the '79 and earlier engines...except the bellhousing and starter location.
