AFTER READING OTHER 4 TO 5 LUG SWAP INQUARIES SEVERAL OF MY QUESTIONS WERE ANSWERED  / HOWEVER I HAVE ONE MORE QUESTION, WILL A THREE SPEED CLUTCH HOUSING FROM A 200 SIX MOUNT TO A 302 ? AND IF NOT CAN I JUST CHANGE THE HOUSING AND USE THE ORIGINAL 3 SPEED TRANS? :slap:

The bellhousing will NOT bolt to a 302!
You could adapt the 200's three speed to the 302 but it won't handle the torque and doesn't have a synchronized first gear which is a big hassle. The Ford or Borg warner three speeds are strong enough for the 302 and have a sychronized first gear. A four speed would be a bit better swap and the T-5 is even better.

If the 3 speed behind the 200 is in a Maverick, then its the same 3 speed that is behind the 302 and is fully sycronized. It will hold up fine behind a stock to very mild 302. All Mavericks came with the same 3 speed transmission.
