Filed under: Coupes, Sports/GTs, Ford The 2010 Mustang has been slowly revealed over the past few months via dozens of spy shots and teaser images from Ford itself, but a sharp-eyed Autoblog reader came across a pair of photos that could very well be the first official images of the 2010 Ford Mustang. The design cues match up well with what we've seen so far, so these are either very accurate (and tiny) renderings or photos of the actual car. The shot of the rear looks most convincing, like it came directly from Ford. We only wish they were a bit larger so we could better judge their authenticity. Regardless of whether these images are real or fake, the actual 2010 Ford Mustang will be unveiled in a month at the LA Auto Show. Thanks for the tip, Salomon! I don't believe that's what the taillights will look like, I saw a prototype one up-close recently, with the leopard skin camo, the taillights are hidden between the brakelights on the one I saw.
Living in Detroit, you'd get to see alot of the prototypes, I know almost every time I'm there I see something. That's why a cell phone with a camera is awesome!! I have pictures of a Ranger somewhere around 1993, I was hanging out the window of my buddies Coronet 500 while snapping the pic's of it, and the guy driving was trying to cover his face, it was all green/brown camo back then.
Not even close to the 2010 .... where's the power bulge hood? and those are the current tail-lights ...
It's awesome being near detroit, in fact my dad works at Livonia transmission, and before he did his brother did. My dad says he remebers seeing a few mavericks out there when he first began working that there were some mavericks with '70 boss 302-style stripes, and not long ago, one of my dads friends, who test drives cars at the dearborn test track said he say a grabber blue maverick over by the track with a boss chin spoiler and boss 302 badging, probably someone who worked theres car with a boss 302 manifold and cut-up cleveland heads on a 302, but maybe ford originally wanted to make a boss maverick.
Wow a coronet 500, you don't here about those cars much anymore. Does he still have it . Wouldn't mind owning one, but it would have to be a convertible.
