Anyone tried this kit? We're about to install, and could use any tips you might have or comments.

    Thanks,
    Dean

    Hi Dean,
I was wondering why you chose that type over the one most of us use...

The Accel unit is a light trigger device. If oil and dirt get on it the accuracy and dependability decreases quickly. I prefer magnetic triggers but some have good luck with light triggers too.

i have the accel unit the installation is pretty simple and straight forward. dont forget to gap your plugs wider once youve installed this kit.
i went this route cause it was cheaper i havent had any problems with it (then again ive only driven the car 3 times since i installed it

You shouldn't have to change the gap on your plugs.
all that does is raise the voltage to the plugs. It deteriorates the electrodes and wires faster than a smaller gap. The smaller gap increases the amperage to the plug which is what ignites the fuel.
