from the factory the only diffrence between a v8 maverick and a 6cyl is a slightly larger sway bar and 5 lug wheels instead of 4 lug on the older models

but assuming all your suspension is original then its well over 30 years old and probably a little tired. it may be time to do springs, bushings, ball joints, tie rods, ect anyway

Also there's a belly bar under the engine area in a v8. Lot of discussion wether it's really needed or not. Same thing with the tranny crossmember if you are going to dual exhaust. This has been discussed lots of times. Use the search function and you should find all the info you'll need.:)

The translator on Google had this to say:

Hello corduroy, in which part of Venezuela are you?

You can keep many pieces, the front axle what to do or at least revise, the spirals 250 useless for the 302 provided they are not defeated, there is a bar that goes between the bases of the plateau below that and never got the basis of the box should change it if you want to escape on the side of the driver (if you use the dual exhaust) is not lower than the other. The radiator must be 3 channels, almost all the maverick who brought 250 do. The carter of 302 should not hit the bars of the leadership, I believe it is of the old models (mustang, Fairlane, LTD, etc.)

    In english now...

Hello my friend (corduroy? hehehehe), where in Venezuela are you?

You can keep using many pieces, the front end haves to be rebuilt (overhauled) or at least deeply checked, the front springs you use with the 250 can be used with the 302 if there are not tired already, there is a crossmember that is located between the lower control arms mountings that i never found here and the tranny crossmember must be changed if you want the driver's side exhaust pipe (if you go with dual exhaust) don't sit lower than the passenger's side one. the radiator must be three tubes wide, almost any maverick here with a 250 l6 engine came with that ones. The 302 carter must not interfere with the steering linkage, i think that old models ones won't do (mustang, fairlane, LTD, etc).

See? I'm better than google's translator, hehehehehe :biglaugh:

Pana here is a way to say friend, like saying dude or some... (corduroy is a type of fabric here is called pana too...) -This was a language moment sponsored by: CHASISCORTO (short chasis). hehehehehe
