302 v8 alternator wiring harness

    Are the 1971 and 1972 302 alternator wiring harness the same? The one shown is a 1972. Thanks

    1972 Maverick Grabber - Color: Orange Also, 1976 Ford Maverick 4-door, 1977 Mercury Comet 2-door.
    I have found there is a difference, though very small differences. Post up a picture of what you are looking for...somebody might be able to help.

    I have bought that very harness off of ebay for my 1972 Grabber. Mine was an early 1972. It has more in common with a 1971 than a 1972. (No in-dash seatbelt lite, had non-retractable seat belts, for example).

    Look at all the wire colors, where they plug in, the types of plugs, etc...and see if it matches yours. If you need help...email me.
