can a 351 w use the same exhaust manifolds as a 302?also will the c4 bellhousing fit from the 302 to the 351 w/ no problem? any help would be apprecicated! thanks kris

ok if im reading this right is it just as easy to put in a 351w as a 302? I have a 302 im about to put in my 70 grabber and if i can just bolt on a bit more power i would love to
The 351 can use 302 exhaust manifolds, but I doubt they would fit in a Maverick with a 351w... Everyone is giving you the 'OK', but I don't think it will work. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Dave Fwiw, if you have a 351w long block, then all your 302 parts will swap except intake, distributor, and oil pan. You may have to watch balance weight, but that is the case with any SBF. For the Mav swap, you will need swap headers.
The main thing to know up front is that, for the 351 you will have to modify your shock towers.There are many members that have done this and instructions out there, but if you dont want to do that then you will need to stick to the 302. This is a judgement call on your part, as to how you want your car.
