    Howdy .
Has anyone used spacers to go from 4 lug to 5 lug rims without switching the brakes or rear end?
Is that a good way to go without making major changes?
If so, which brand of spacers. And, is it safe and solid as far as noise or feel of the ride?
    Thanks!

I used a set on my 1st Maverick. Then when I had the money I put five lug brakes on it. The key is to torque them to the correct specs, torque the wheel to the correct specs and check them on an ongoing basis. They work fine. Sorry but it has been too long ago to remember the brand.

I have the spacers on my 66 mustang and Shorty is right it is critical to torque them to the proper specs. I have had no issues and only have them in rear as I did the Granada swap on fronts.
I got the spacers off eBay and I believe it was $120 for a pair. I didn't get the thin cheap ones.

I think spacers will change the offset of your rims, may need to check for that ...:bouncy:

Yes they did change the off set it pushed the rims closer to the fenders. But I like the stance

Ditto for my 1st Maverick but as 71maverick361 noted, I liked the stance as well. It gave it a mean, muscle car appearance with the wheels and tires I had on it.
