Is anyone running a 6 speed manual? Do you like it? Any suggestions? (I'm looking for more of a weekend driver than a racer) it will be behind a 347 with about 350-400hp.

You can buy a near bulletproof T5 for what you'll have in the T56 6 speed.

I would think the six speed would need a lot of tunnel modification to fit.

I'd think so too due to the extra length.

I myself never really cared for the double overdrive setups since they're just 4 speeds with 2 overdrives, is all. IMO.. if you're going to spend that kind of cash?.. I'd look at the Richmond/ROD 6 setup. Or even their straight 5 speed setup with some taller rear gears ain't bad either.

Pretty damned pricey.. but I've driven a few cars with them installed and a close ratio 5 speed with a single overdive will make you want to drive it daily no matter what the weather is.
