Anything made in china will be junk (other than mail in brides). My wife is chinese and even she wont buy chinese products anymore. She reads me the chinese news papers about the stuff they do over in china. Just as an example the baby bottles being sold to US vendors are being made by a company in china that makes them from recycled plastic syringes. Chinese for the most part do not have production regulations as we do in the US. I could go on forever about interesting stories but, the chinese just do not make quality. They produce a low quality high volume production run on stuff. It would be my guess that any bumpers made from china would be too thin and the chrome would peal off 6 months later.

I agree with the thought that most things made in china are junk but, if I could get my hands on a thin (light) un-chromed front and rear bumper for cheap I'd be happy. Besides, I got friends that can chrome. Would these bumpers come with mounts?

Im not going to even comment on that statement about terrible work from the chinese as i have been involved in the sale of over 125 aluminum rads on this very forum with nothing but great things to say about them and they where made in China. It dosent matter to me if not one person here wants them ,i believe the quality will be great as i know who is quality control and i will be buying 3 rears and three fronts if this works out . I will be directly involved in production and sales and im sure the first order all will sell on here or ebay.cheers folks Jimmy

Wow - Why don't we all just tear him up from the get go :16suspect

No one bitch and moan later when you can't find any small bumpers.

Anyhow, back on track. The biggest problem I foresee w/ Chinese bumpers is poor chrome quality that won't last... And re-chroming ain't cheap. However, if you know these people and you say the quality will be good, Ill take your word for it. Depending on price, put me down for a set or two.

this is not worth the effort on here .im going to delete this and you all can buy them from me on ebay ,sorry i even went to this extent for you guys and gals . I have noticed that not one person from here has chimed up to say what kind of quality control Champion cooling systems had with there rads for us ,i would think they would do the same for bumpers .I think that there is over 100 folks from this forum with Champion Cooling rads in there cars ., I will be deleting this shortly but i must defend my source and connection first.

Yea really. If he trusts this company we can't make a generalized stereotype about the whole group of em. Sure it won't be the best, but until people here decide to grow up and the economy gets better, the best we can do is give it a try and see what happens.
-If i get a good enough job I may be down for a set. Maybe 2 sets depending on how things work out. Good luck with gettin this to go through. that's gotta be one of the most looked-for parts i've seen on here.
-edit. I agree with Bubba Bob. Don't let em spoil it. If they think that about the china bumpers, then they just won't buy them. That's the worst they can do. And i think you'll find some people to buy some on here. As for fitment, I've seen some radical things done to cars and know that we have quite a few talented metalworkers on this board. What's a little fitment problem? I understand that if you buy something for a car you expect it to fit, but we gotta face it. most of the time, the people making them may not feel the same.

All though I can see the attack is not on Jimmy but is on the quality of Chinese made products I can see that he is taking it personal. I think the best thing to do is wait until they arrive and then the quality can be judged.

Thanks Jimmy for trying to do something for the Maverick family, I have not bought one of the radiators but will be in the market for one soon and am sure I will check out the one you have had made. :Handshake

Thank you Bubba Bob and Duck Tape and Frank (71Gold) ,i must say this ,why dont all of you get rid of your cell phones cuz there ALL made in China. Im going to send Cid a old worn out front and rear bumper as a proto type and he will try to insure a good chrome job with a high standard but if there is no demand from here them i will have to speculate the demand and put in a order that i will insure Cid they will sell,i quess my money and my neck will be on the line. cheers folks. You know i said a long time ago i could also get rear window louvers made from the same source and no one wanted them either ,whats a guy to do .
