1974 Maverick I bought for $500 8 years ago when I was 16. Since then I have invested $30,000 into it.
I appologize if this has already been discussed. I checked the forum all I saw was the conversion to 73 bumpers. I am interested in doing it if it is possible. Does any one have any pics of doing the swap or any tips would be most appreciated. I have found some places that sell the bumpers and the stone guards (I think this is what there called). Im assuming I would just need the brackets off of a donor car.
Have heard so many different stories about this swap but want something in stone before I buy the glass parts.
    Thanx, 74Maverick Thom

Thom,,glad to be able to help. I didnt take any pics of mine when I did the conversion. I dont think Dennis did either. When you get your parts ready you really just need to mock it up and drill holes. When you have a question on something we will be here to keep you on the right track. I did mine a little different in that I notched my stonegaurd and not the fenders. You will understand all this once you get all the parts lined up. It is not hard at all and only real tools you need are a good drill, good drill bits and of course some good hand tools. There will be 2 holes that show on the rear qtrs. that will need to be filled or plugged. Minor painting skills will be needed too.
    Dan
